A brand built on good
(and a bit of seaweed)

PhycoHealth didn’t start as a brand. It started as a question.

What if something incredibly simple, something already growing in our oceans, could help fix what we’ve broken, while making people healthier at the same time?

That question was asked by a scientist who genuinely cares about the planet. Dr Pia Winberg has spent decades studying seaweed,  not as a trend or a buzzword, but as one of the most powerful (and under-used) resources we have. Her research revealed something remarkable: seaweed can help address 7 of the 9 planetary boundaries — from climate and biodiversity to ocean health and food systems. PhycoHealth was born from that insight. Not to save the world with slogans, but to make seaweed part of everyday life.

As seaweed grows, it absorbs excess nutrients, supports marine ecosystems and helps re-oxygenate our oceans. That’s why every PhycoHealth product contains at least 10g of seaweed.|

The science is simple:

  • 1 kg of oxygen can re-oxygenate around 222,000 litres of water

  • 1 kg of seaweed produces about 1.066 kg of oxygen

  • Even 10g of seaweed can help re-oxygenate roughly 2,366 litres of ocean water

Small daily choices. Real impact, happening quietly in the background.

Good products, full stop

PhycoHealth doesn’t make products to talk about purpose.
It makes products because they work.

From food to skincare to supplements, everything is designed for everyday health, using seaweed as a naturally efficient ingredient.

No land clearing. No fresh water. No fertilisers. Just something that grows fast and gives back more than it takes.

Seaweed doesn’t need a speech. It just needs to be used.

Partnerships that make sense

From supporting Operation Crayweed to help replant seaweed forests along our coastlines, to backing research into skin regeneration and running seasonal initiatives that bring ocean health into focus, each partnership extends the impact of what PhycoHealth already does. Local. Relevant. Practical.

Because growing seaweed works even better when you grow it together.
